This week, the end of Surfin’ is the least of your worries.

After 622 installments of Surfin’, this may be the last.

In case you have not heard, a Mayan calendar predicted that today -- December 21 -- is doomsday. To mark that final event, N0D, a special event station “celebrating the end of the world” will be on the air until the bitter end.

The N0D website has everything you need to know for those last hours on the air, including how to get the QSL card you will never get. Because there have been so many requests for that last QSO, N0D has extended its operations and is on the air today through Saturday, December 22 (if we survive).

N0D “will be operating as long and as often as we can. We may have to change frequencies and modes quickly as destruction rains down upon us. There may be limited daytime operation as many of our employers insist we show up for work even though it’s Doomsday.”

So check the DX clusters to find N0D while you can.
