Radio Alpha, the ARRL^® Museum and Research Library, is an all-volunteer project of ARRL The National Association for Amateur Radio^®. This collection is still under development, and you are welcome to browse the library. Most entries currently include only the most basic information. Radio Alpha will take years to complete, but will never actually be finished, because the history of amateur radio is still being written. Our goal is to distinguish Radio Alpha from other online sources through completeness, quality of information, and careful attention to detail—all curated in a clean, well-organized environment free of advertising, spam, and clickbait. Work will proceed in two phases: The first phase is simply to identify significant people, organizations, manufacturers, events, and equipment, and establish placeholders for them in the database.
