13.8 volt power supply recommendations | WA2P | on 20/3/13 |
Congrats on your new radio. You don't mention how many amps your radio needs, but my fave supply at the moment is the Alinco DM-330MV. It's a switching supply, but I have yet to detect any interference from it (I use it with an ICOM IC-7600). Metering is fine, solid construction.
QST Digital Version - Got to be a better way | KB2HF | on 13/3/13 |
I guess I'm in the minority here when I say that Digital QST looks absolutely great on my four-year-old PC! I find navigation easy, and the graphics are crisp. The embedded videos also play flawlessly. Not sure why so many folks seem to have trouble.
New to PSK31 could a little advice.... | N4SMF | on 28/2/13 |
Check to see whether the 7000's USB connection to a PC can be used for digital modes (my 7600 does this). If so, you'll need to install the drivers available on ICOM's Web site. If the 7000 doesn't offer this, I've had fantastic results with the Tigertronics SignaLink USB interface. --jim, KJ3P |
