Young Ladies Radio League (YLRL) was formed to encourage women in amateur radio.  YLRL members work for certificates and awards, and participate in contests and operating events.  Members help mentor new amateurs and members working on new operating modes.  YLRL offers several HF nets and supports YL nets on VHF-UHF and Echolink.  YLRL offers 3 scholarships handled through the Foundation of Amateur Radio (FAR) every year to assist young ladies in college.  The YLRL Convention is held every 3 - 4 years to get members together to meet in person.  Members attend hamfests and conventions and represent YLRL to those attending.  The bimonthly newsletter is YL Harnmonics.  Members can read current issues on our website which publishes information on member activities and YLRL business.  Past issues can be read by non members also on this site.  The website includes Resources for Women in Ham Radio.
