The Northern Chautauqua Amateur Radio Club, NCARC, is an Amateur Radio club in Chautauqua County. Our club uses the historic call sign of W2SB, issued in 1956 to honor a club founder, Al Barris, W2SB . ​

The NCARC formed in 1930 and we're celebrating 96 years of service to the ham radio community. We've been an ARRL affiliated club since November 1930 and we're an active, family-oriented group centered in Dunkirk/Fredonia, NY but we have members from all around the county.
​
The NCARC participates in “Field Days” and other radio events, as well as supporting 3 Repeaters, RACES, ARES, SkyWARN and other local events.
The NCARC also has Allstar nodes and Meshcore services plannedin 2026 . Scanner enthusiasts, Shortwav listeners , FM DXers , and Family Radio Service users are also welcome
