CVARC was created to:
Further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism, and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the Community.

    Encompass the purpose of amateur radio as set forth by the Federal Communications Commission Rules and Regulations, to wit: (1) to provide public service, particularly in emergencies, (2) to continue and extend the advancement of radio art, (3) to encourage the improvement of the communication and technical phase of radio art, (4) to increase the number of trained operators, technicians and experts, and (5) to enhance international good will.
