The Bridgerland Amateur Radio Club is a vibrant and active organization based in Northern Utah, dedicated to people who share an interest in amateur radio—whether they are longtime operators or just beginning their journey. The club places a strong emphasis on building community, fostering friendships, and supporting one another in learning and growing as amateur radio enthusiasts. Through regular events, training, and public service activities, members are encouraged to connect, communicate, and continually improve their skills in a welcoming and fun enviornment.

Founded in 1976 by Jeff Jacobsen (WA7MBL), Bob Wood (WA7MXZ) and Bill Neville (WA7KMF), the Bridgerland Amateur Radio Club exists for the training and fellowship of amateur radio operators.  We are an active group of hams in Northern Utah that enjoy exploring all aspects of the hobby.  Meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of each month September through May and November.  During summer months the club participates in many activities.  The official BARC Net is held every Tuesday evening.  We are an ARRL affiliated club.

Club members donated more than 6000 hours of time to support public service events, ARES exercises, STEM Fair displays, and multi week youth projects.  Our members come from Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming.
