CQ C TTET

I've been hearing several instances on 30M when someone is calling CQ but in several instances the CQ is sent with the Q stretched out...actually TTET is sent. Is this just a fad, or is there some other real significance ? |

Could the sender be using a bug or straight key? Maybe QLF? |
