The UMBC Amateur Radio Club participates in public service events in the community in conjunction with local ham radio clubs. We participate in contests and other radiosport events, but mostly we just like exploring our hobby - ham radio - and playing around with the equipment in our "ham shack". This includes building antennas, tinkering with electronics, and attempting to push the boundaries of radio. We operate PSK-31 on several bands, and a number of other digital modes, as well as SSB voice.
