Smoky Mountain ARC (SMARC) formed in 1947 after WW2.  

SMARC participates in the annual ARRL Field Day and operates under the W4OLB (club call), the club operates a VHF repeater (146.655 MHz) and UHF (Fusion) Repeater (443.075 MHz).  VHF repeater is linked via DMR (444.075), just program TG314742.

Regular monthly meetings (in person  and via Zoom).

SMARC has two parking lot tailgate hamfests with food each year, with one in spring and one in fall. An annual Christmas Party  is held in December, and routine hidden transmitter hunts are held. SMARC holds a Technician Class at least once per year, a General Class on demand and testing is arranged quarterly, plus working with local Boy Scout troops as requested.
