The ORANGE COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB is the oldest HAM RADIO CLUB in Orange County in southern California. We have a club historian who maintains records back to the 1930's.  The club is a "general purpose" ham radio club. We have license testing before the general meetings.  OCARC has a WEB SITE (www,W6ZE.org) and a monthly newsletter with technical articles and news of current club events and ham radio events, We offer family and teen discounts on membership. Most of our members were also professionals in technical fields. This brings additional technical expertise to our ranks. The club also holds a yearly auction for radio related equipment. Field Day is a big effort and a GOTA station is available as a great vehicle to introduce new hams into the fun of contests. OCARC has a wide variety of presentations, events, building projects, and public service as components while trying to keep the club as general purpose, do as to not exclude anyone,
