Each member of our "special-ops-leaning" squad is either an FCC licensed amateur radio operator or a support person having various & complimentary experience; some military and some civilian.
Other training some of our members have includes 3D printing, electrical, electronic, computer systems & networking, medicine, and even surgery and welding. Many of our squad members have even built key parts of their portable radio systems themselves.
We train in mock disaster fashion > no power, no repeater, no internet.
Seasonal opportunities to live out of your Go Bag / Get Home Bag overnight since perfect practice make perfect.
No dues, no set meetings.
