The Columbia Amateur Radio Association (CARA) is an IRS listed 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Howard County, Maryland.
CARA organizes several diverse amateur radio activities to include Field Day, an annual hamfest (CARAFest), demos and providing communications support for public service events. We also organize monthly on the air nets, meetings and guest presentations, and support area license and operating classes to promote amateur radio experiences and technical growth.
